I have more than 1 complaint, do I need to book 2 appointments?

Not necessarily. As osteopaths work ‘holistically’ it is important for us to be aware of any other complaints that might be affecting, or be affected by, your main symptoms. It is likely that we will need to discuss both complaints, and consider them both when formulating your treatment plan. It is, however, worth noting that if you do have 2 truly distinct complaints, each with a separate mechanism of injury and their own predisposing and maintaining factors, this will of course require more treatment than if there were only 1 issue. Be sure to discuss any concerns such as this when booking your appointment and your osteopath will advise you on how best to proceed.
