FAQS

Can I receive treatment on the NHS?

In some areas of the UK, patients are able to be referred by their GP for osteopathic treatment funded by the NHS. The availability of this in England depends on your local Clinical Commissioning Group (or in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, on your local Health Board). North Tyneside CCG does not currently fund osteopathic treatment. If this is something you would like to see happen in the future, you should contact your local CCG and request that they consider funding osteopathic treatment. The more demand there is for this service, the more likely it is that it will be provided in the future.
